Social Workers & Workplace Safety 101

Workplace safety is one of the top issues impacting the social work profession but is rarely talked about. This presentation will review why safety matters. The presentation will review strategies for decreasing risk in direct service with clients in the office and in the field, how to assist one another, and how to ensure that the organization is handling safety issues appropriately.
Participants will understand why safety is critical to their own well-being, their organization, and their clients.
