“Think Big” and become “Big” in a child’s life. Youth facing adversity need the motivation to take on new challenges, the resilience to turn adversity into strength and the grit to persevere.
Join the School-Based Mentoring Program – Volunteer just an hour a week,
on Mondays during lunch, 11:50-12:35 at Conger Elementary School.
You will be paired one-on-one with a third grader. Program activities addressing their 5 core content areas are provided and facilitated by a BBBS staff member. Mentors are encourage to bring their lunch to each with their mentees. Core areas include: relationship building, growth mindset, hope and goal-setting, academic success and character development.
Volunteers also sought for one-on-one mentoring program, meeting 2x a month for relationship building and becoming a friend to a youth who needs one.
