Join the Giving Garden Team. The Giving Garden is an eight-bed garden at The Historic Coffman Homestead. Not only does maintaining this veggie and herb garden make great use of this historic, public land, it provides fresh produce to families at The Dublin Food Pantry. It’s time to start planning what yummy garden goodness will go in the ground!
Park Ambassadors spend their already-usual-walk-time in their neighborhood parks to monitor safety and horticulture, greet park users, send in maintenance needs or concerns, lead occasional volunteer projects, and even help with Nature Education classes scheduled in those parks. Dublin Bicycle Ambassadors (DBAs) do the same, except on the amazing shared use pathway system. DBAs send in photos/maintenance requests while out riding, offer to assist those on the pathway system in need of help, lead or ride-along with occasional group bike rides, and assist Police Officers with Bike Safety education.
The Bluebird Team is busily maintaining and monitoring all bluebird boxes in Dublin. They could use a few more helpers, especially in the areas of 161/33 (near Dublin Methodist Hospital).
Saturday, May 19: Community Tunnel Mosaic Project. Join fellow residents in placing tile pieces onto the inside of a bike tunnel (at Emerald Parkway and Dublin Road). The multi-year project has been completely installed by volunteers and reflects the diversity and artistic spirit of Dublin. You, your family and friends may join in on permanently leaving your mark on Dublin by volunteering for this need.Volunteer Now!
