Purpose:

This workshop will present information on the most recent changes in the Rules and Laws and give participants an opportunity to discuss their own issues and ethical dilemmas that Counselors & Social Workers face every day.  It is also a look at the Code of Professional Conduct, what not to do, and the process
by which licensees can get support.

 

Learning objectives:

By the conclusion of this workshop, participants will:

  • Receive updated information regarding changes to the rules and ethical code that governs the practice of the professions.
  • Have the opportunity to discuss cases that they might struggle with in real-time.
  • Have the opportunity to look at the “grey” in ethics.
  • Have the opportunity to look at themselves in a deeper way.
