More than 400 volunteers participated in Make A Difference Delaware County (MDDC) – the largest single day of volunteering in Delaware County. Sponsored by Connections Volunteer Center, MDDC is a two-time national award-winning event and is in its 14th year. And, while COVID-19 posed logistical challenges this year, volunteers were determined to deliver care and compassion to the homes of older adults and nonprofits around the county. A total of 81 older adults homes and several nonprofit agencies were helped during the event. Approximately 990 hours were contributed valued at an investment of nearly $27,000 back into the local community.
