A Place of Warmth @Zion UCC

Place of Warmth at Zion provides a safe and warm place on nights of extreme cold for homeless men.

This is the 4th Winter for A Place of Warmth at Zion to be active in the community.

This year the warming center will have an employee, who will stay for the entire 12 hours.  Police officers will be present during intake, from 8:00-10:00 pm and be aware when the warming center is open.

Volunteers can help by volunteering for shifts during the coldest nights of winter.
2 shifts available, 8 pm – 2 am and 2 am – 8 am.

The center will open at Zion United Church of Christ when temperatures drop below 20°F.

Volunteer Open House and Training Update scheduled for Tuesday, December 4th.
