Central Ohio Symphony
The March concert is coming up on Sunday, March 31 at 3:00 pm.
March will feature great music for chorus and orchestra, Verdi’s Requiem, with four outstanding Ohio guest artists as soloists. The Symphony welcomes the Ohio Wesleyan University Choral Art Society and Capriccio Columbus with more than 200 musicians on stage. This will be the first time the Central Ohio Symphony has performed this powerful and moving choral work.
Volunteers should plan to arrive 1 hour early and the opportunities include:
Ticket takers and ushers — please identify whether you wish to fill one of those positions in the balcony or on the main floor
Handicapped Entrance Assistants — both inside and outside (outside to assist in unloading and directing audience members enter Gray Chapel; inside to greet and welcome audience members and assist with the chair lift as needed — such as make small talk while people wait and pass out programs)
Ticket sales — preferably volunteers with previous experience selling tickets and assisting audience members to find available seats in Gray Chapel
Friend’s table — assist with coat check and selling of refreshments
Fantastic opportunitiy to help and enjoy the concert at the same time!
