Focusing on compassion fatigue, burnout, and self-care, this presentation focuses on personal and professional wellness. It discusses both compassion fatigue and burnout and helps attendees assess their own levels for each. We will also discuss the impacts that compassion fatigue and burnout can have on a person’s short and long-term health and career longevity as well as the ways it can be harmful on an organization-wide level. Further, we will discuss examples of things organizations can do to promote self-care among their employees.
