Dempsey Middle School
Dempsey DLC (Discover. Leadership. Community.) is a grant funded 21st CCLC (21st century learning community center) afterschool program. The School Age Child Care program was awarded a 5 year grant to provide afterschool homework help and tutoring at Dempsey for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. The program is designed to increase math and reading skills, increase self-awareness, build social-emotional skills, increase 21st Century skills (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, & creativity).
Aside from HW/tutoring help; the grant also provides the following opportunities:

Field Trips
Open Monday – Thursday 2:30 – 6:00 pm.
