Purpose:
This training will focus on the recent publication, “Serving Survivors with Disabilities: An Advocate’s Guide”, written in partnership by the Ohio Victim Witness Association and Crime Victim Services of Allen and Putnam Counties. This workshop will focus on how communities and organizations can intentionally collaborate to improve services for victims with disabilities. This workshop seeks to provide its attendees with hands-on practical information on how to implement inclusive strategies inside their organizations and within their communities to begin services or improve already existing services for victims with disabilities.

Learning objectives:
By the conclusion of this workshop, participants will: 

Objective 1: Expand knowledge of accessible service considerations

Objective 2: Gain practical skills to build organizational attitudinal accessibility

Objective 3: Develop an action plan to take back to their communities
