Family Promise

The Family Promise house is able to provide temporary housing for families and help support parents in finding housing and job opportunities.  Up to six families at a time, who are experiencing homelessness, are welcomed

You and your community group or faith community can help by hosting during scheduled daily meal shifts, overnight and throughout the weekend. Training provided.

Seeking housing advocacy volunteers who can work with Family Promise and teach good tenancy, help develop landlord relationships and identify and grow affordable housing stock.

Day-time volunteers are needed who can staff the house, including the office, when Family Promise employees need to attend various community meetings.

Help with leading scheduled trauma-informed activities, such as art for all ages, gardening, reading – after school, before school, during summer and winter breaks and holidays.
