Volunteer at BIA Parade of Homes July 13 – 28
Habitat is excited for the opportunity to represent their organization at the BIA Parade of Homes this year. The parade will at Evans Farm in Lewis Center, July 13 – 28, 2019.
Volunteers will be needed in shifts every day of the Parade to staff model homes.
Volunteers receive a pass for the day which grants free parking and admission so that you have the opportunity to tour the Parade of Homes before or after your shift. You will also receive a Habitat for Humanity t-shirt for you to wear during your shift. Emails will be sent to registered volunteers with additional information.
Habitat for Humanity of Delaware & Union Counties will earn $20 for each hour of your service!
Volunteers are not required to be knowledgeable about Habitat for Humanity, and builders of the model homes will provide instructions upon arrival. Volunteers must be able to stand during their shift.
Sign up with a friend or family member to make a fun day of it, and raise funds for a great cause!
Habitat for Humanity of Delaware and Union Counties is part of a global nonprofit housing organization working toward their vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
All skill levels – from willing learner to professional builder – are welcome. Instruction is provided, and volunteers are never required to do any work they’re uncomfortable doing. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and sturdy, close-toed shoes and be willing to put in a good day’s work to know they are truly helping Habitat provide families a decent place to live in their community.
