HelpLine Board Member
Volunteer Board members sought for HelpLine. Having a dedicated and multi-skilled board is critical for a non-profit agency to continue to meet the needs of growing communities. If you are interested in the needs of our community and are dedicated to a better quality of life in our counties, please consider supporting HelpLine in this way.
The HelpLine board is the guiding body involved in fundraising, making policy for the agency, strategic planning, and general oversight of agency functioning, relying on the executive director to manage the day-to -day operations and administer its policies. The board meets the third Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm – 8:00pm (except December, April, and July). There is an expectation of regular attendance and to be a member of two committees. There are a variety of committees to choose from based on interest and time availability.
HelpLine has identified and is actively engaged in working on 3 strategic goals for the next 3 to 5 years: Develop a strong brand that is understood and visible throughout our service areas. Develop a diverse and stable funding model that promotes long term sustainability of services. Ensure HelpLine has the right people and the right infrastructure to meet our mission.
