Volunteers are needed to assist with Meals On Wheels

Meals on Wheels driver: Most of the open routes just need filled for the winter. There are routes open on Tuesdays and Thursdays currently, but more routes come open all the time. The time frame is about 10:30am-12:30pm. They offer mileage reimbursement and a free lunch. We are practicing “no contact” delivery.

Kitchen assistant: a volunteer is needed on Tuesdays or Thursdays from about 8:00-11am primarily to pack meals into trays. It requires being able to stand most of the time. It’s fun and fast and you work with a great team and lunch is included. Everyone wears masks but social distancing has its challenges in the space.

Meals on Wheels packers: volunteers help pack up coolers from 8:15-11:15am Monday through Friday. We need a volunteer packer on Mondays or Fridays. Lunch included.

Birthday cards: we need artsy people to make birthday cards at home for homebound seniors.
