OSHIIP Class Leaders: Take a 20 hour online class to learn the basics of Medicare, then lead or co-lead (with the help of a Power Point) classes called, New to Medicare. Classes are scheduled around your schedule, a minimum commitment of twice a month is requested.
Medical Transportation: Want to experience real gratitude? Try transporting homebound seniors to crucial medical appointments. Flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement provided. A minimum commitment of two transports a month is requested.
Winter Kitchen Assistants: Prep or pack meals for Meals on Wheels in our kitchen one morning a week while the regular volunteer flies South for the winter. Free lunch the day you volunteer.
Meals on Wheels: Deliver meals to homebound seniors. Hours are approximately 10:30am-12:30pm, typical schedule is to volunteer once a week, delivering the same route. Free lunch the day you volunteer.
Volunteers must be age 18 or above, or accompanied by an adult.
