About the Presenter(s):

Jodi Schermerhorn, M.S.Ed, LPCC-S Registered Play Therapist-S

Jodi is an independently licensed clinical counselor supervisor and has board approval in Ohio (E.1100143-SUPV) and Florida for Telehealth Counseling to Florida residents (TPMC1825).  She is also a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor (T2826).  Jodi treats clients in private practice and is the Clinical Director for Spirit of Peace Clinical Counseling under the American Association for Play Therapists. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and American and Ohio Play Therapy Associations. Jodi received her Master of Education in Community Counseling degree from the University of Dayton. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Ohio Wesleyan University. She has an extensive background working with children 3 years old and up, couples, and families.  She believes as difficult as life gets there is reason to be hopeful. While some needs require long term therapy, the goal is to work with each client as quickly as possible to reach independence while they navigate through life’s difficult times.

Jill Howard, Exercise Physiologist (ACSM, NASM) Medical Technologist (ASCP)

Jill considers the whole person physically, mentally and spiritually, when training clients. “Creating your best life now” is Jill’s life and business motto. Her compassion and creativity mixed with specialized medical exercise education form the design recipe is for her clients. Jill loves to meet people wherever they are and help them co-create a motivating movement experience! Her desire to work with all stages of fitness led her to obtain a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Wyoming. Jill also has a degree in Medical Technology from Oregon State University and is a board-certified (ASCP) Medical technologist. Jill was born in Fort Collins Colorado and grew up as a dancer, gymnast, track athlete. She now lives in Ohio and has 6 kids. She is energized by nature hikes, especially the mountains and the beach!
